Bailout

After seeing the recent news where the banks have not shared how they are using the money, it just seems that we should be providing the bail out funds to the end user. Use the Alaska plan or the tax rolls and give every tax payer a big chunk of money. The smart ones would pay off debt, save it and invest it....the knuckleheads would just spend it, but that too buys goods and services......

Almost a year gone...

The nears its end. It seems that time moves more quickly as we get older; perhaps because a year is such a small percentage of one's overall life.

All goes generally well and I hope it goes well with all others......

Not much accomplished....

I spoke with the technician responsible for the transformation, and he said he cannot do anything until the transformation is completed next week...oh crap.....

Blast the IT Gods....

So we are in the middle of the IT "transformation" altering domain names and moving to a better system. My issue is that we come to a complete halt on so much stuff while these guys do their thing. I wish they would do thier work after hours so that we are more seamless....

I have no access to mail via VPN or through the network. I cannot access my files on the server 30 miles away (I'm so glad I keep a back up with me).

Ah well, I guess I will have another cup of coffee and read the news.

Back to the blogging...

I've been on the wagon for a while with blogging. But thought it is time to get back into it...I hope to be able to post to the web page for the health department, but I think I will need to start a second blog just to keep a separation of personal thoughts versus quasi-official ones....
